Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans seem to have changed again

On August 26, 2025, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift announced their engagement, and since then, the details of their wedding have been the talk of the town.

The tight end and the singer had planned to marry over the summer in Rhode Island, at Swift’s oceanfront home, on June 13, but their plans have taken a new turn.

Travis and Taylor change their wedding plans again

According to recent reports, the couple has decided to change not only the location of their big day, but also the date of the wedding and some of the guests.

Travis and Taylor are set to tie the knot on July 3 in New York. This date coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States (a date that Swift usually celebrates in a big way) and gives Kelce time for a honeymoon before reporting to the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in late July.

Initially, everything indicated that Swift and Kelce wanted an intimate, low-key celebration without the presence of major celebrities. However, it has been revealed that the guest list is expanding and more stars are expected to attend.

One name that had caused a stir due to her initial absence was Taylor’s friend Zoë Kravitz. However, Us Weekly confirmed that the actress, who is reportedly engaged to Harry Styles, will be present, though it is unknown whether Swift’s ex also received an invitation.

While doubts also surround Blake Lively‘s attendance following her legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni, other stars have been confirmed.

Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, and the Haim sisters will be among Swift’s guests, while Travis will bring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, actor Miles Teller, and his brother Jason Kelce. Although these are just a few of the celebrities who have been revealed, the presence of major figures from the worlds of music, film, and sports cannot be ruled out.

Additionally, as reported by the International Business Times, the celebration will be held under a “no-phone policy” during the ceremony and reception-an increasingly common trend to protect both her privacy and that of her guests. Furthermore, the invitations include the guests’ names in the background design to help track any leaked photos.

Meanwhile, as the date draws nearer, everything points to this being the wedding of the century.
