REVEALED: Jacob Fatu Injury Details – Reports

Jacob Fatu and Roman Reigns collided in a rematch at WWE Clash in Italy and delivered a five-star classic match despite rumors about an injury to The Samoan Werewolf. Now, the latest reports have been released with more details about the latter’s injury.

The Samoan Werewolf suffered a legitimate injury while competing in a live show at Liverpool. A report by False Finish detailed that The Tribal Wolf suffered the injury while competing in a match against Solo Sikoa. The Street Champion and Fatu faced off in a Street Fight match at the Liverpool live show, where Sikoa unleashed his fury on his former enforcer and attacked him with kendo sticks several times.

The same report even suggested that, because of his real injury, the Stamford-based promotion had considered replacing Fatu, with Drew McIntyre discussed as the alternative to face Reigns.

Jacob Fatu is booked in a major WWE segment on RAW

Roman Reigns yet again showed the Tribal Wolf his levels, as he was overwhelmed and beaten clean at the 2026 Clash in Italy Premium Live Event.

The match between Jacob Fatu and Reigns was an evenly matched contest at the start. But in the later stages of the bout, the Original Tribal Chief gained the upper hand as he took the Tribal Wolf out by spearing him through the table, which was leaning in the corner against a turnbuckle. He then knocked him down with a rebound spear and pinned him to capture a singles match.

As per the deal of Tribal Combat, Fatu will now have to serve Reigns, and he was seen reluctantly following The Usos out to the back after losing the match. WWE also officially announced that on the upcoming episode of the red brand, The Samoan Werewolf will officially acknowledge the Tribal Chief.

That being said, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his WWE creative team have in store for the Original Tribal Chief and The Bloodline saga in the coming weeks. The Stamford-based promotion now heads to an exciting summer, which includes premium live events such as Night of Champions and the two-night SummerSlam.
