A seven-time WWE World Champion competed in a massive title match at last night’s Clash in Italy Premium Live Event. They shockingly lost the bout to an up-and-coming superstar, leading to a crash-out on social media.
Becky Lynch is the name being discussed. She defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca in the co-main event of Clash in Italy. Lynch and Ruca had a back-and-forth showdown for the workhorse title. The 26-year-old ultimately hit a picture-perfect Sol Snatcher to win her first championship on the main roster.
Thanks for the submission!
The Man seemed furious after her unexpected defeat in Turin. On X, she sent a message targeting WWE official Jessika Carr and Sol Ruca. Becky Lynch claimed that Carr again robbed her of a potential win. She also threatened legal action against Ruca and the Triple H-led company. Lynch concluded her lengthy message by writing that she wouldn’t be held down by minor setbacks.
“Last night I was once again ROBBED of my title by CROOKED CARR!!! CLEARLY I had SO SAD SOL pinned for MORE than the count of three when Carr INEXPLICABLY DOVE out of the ring!!!! A TOTAL MESS!!! I soldiered on but suffered a severe hematoma (my lawyers are looking into ROTTEN RUCAs footwear. They suspect they’re not regulatory!) Doctors say they’re SHOCKED I was able to continue, but I told them YOU CANT HOLD DOWN THE MAN,” Lynch wrote.

Lynch has held the Women’s World Championship five times in her career. She is also a two-time Women’s Champion. Her latest Women’s Intercontinental Championship reign lasted only 43 days. Hence, she surely wouldn’t be pleased with the outcome of her title match at Clash in Italy.
Becky Lynch is Reportedly Mentoring a Promising WWE Upstart
Becky Lynch is among the most despised heels on WWE TV right now. However, she is arguably a locker room leader and mentor to many outside the squared circle.
From headlining WrestleMania to capturing several world titles, Lynch has arguably done it all as an in-ring competitor. At this stage of her career, she seemingly wants to give back to the business while retaining her spot at the top of the card.
A new report by Rope Break suggested that Roman Reigns and Lynch have been mentoring WWE upstart Je’Von Evans. The Young OG has delivered many stellar performances since joining the main roster and is widely viewed as the future of the business.
Evans could scale great heights in his WWE career if he continues to work with legends like Lynch and Reigns behind the scenes.
