Cowboys extend star DT Quinnen Williams with huge three-year deal

The Dallas Cowboys are continuing to make real efforts to improve a defense that was among the worst in the NFL last season.

The latest move to show that effort was the extension of a premier defensive lineman on Monday afternoon.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Dallas and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams are in agreement on a three-year, $105.9 million extension.

Williams was acquired from the New York Jets ahead of the 2025 NFL trade deadline and had two years remaining on his contract. The extension now keeps Williams in Dallas for three more seasons and makes him among the highest paid defensive linemen in the NFL.

In total, Williams is playing under a five-year, $153.15 million contract with $101 million guaranteed.
