Ronda Rousey, who in February announced that she will fight Gina Carano in an MMA fight that will be broadcast live on Netflix, warmed up the “biggest super fight in history” that is scheduled for May 16, 2026.
The “most feared woman on the planet”, who had been out of the octagon for almost 10 years, announced that once the bell rings her only goal will be to “kill” Carano.

Ronda Rousey tried to explain that “if anything I want to show Gina Carano the monster she created. I want her to feel proud. I want her to see, like, ‘Wow! I had no idea that what I started was going to create something like this.’ And I want to show her what I’m capable of. Beat her up and make her feel proud of me!”.

When Rousey retired from the UFC and MMA in general, she left the door open for a possible return. In the years that followed, she successfully adapted to the world of professional wrestling, becoming a WWE star.
However, wrestling fans, especially WWE fans, are unlikely to see her return as MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fans are now doing
“Yes, (I wanted to go back to WWE after my first exit). I was like, ‘Of course I will. Next time I’ll do even better.’ You know? But then I came back, and it was like the agony of the Vince McMahon era, and it wasn’t what I expected. So I probably won’t be back,” Rousey said on the Bertcast podcast.
