Valorant Skirmish Ascension Agents tier list: Ranking all agents from best to worst (May 2026)
Here’s the agent tier list for Valorant Skirmish Ascension:
Here’s a brief analysis of why they are placed in this tier, along with their available abilities:

S-Tier
KAY/O
KAY/O brings his Flash/Drive into Skirmish Ascension, and that’s where he earns his spot in the S-tier. Unlike other Initiators available in this mode, KAY/O can throw flashes from almost anywhere, even from the spawn. This makes it quite challenging for the opponent to dodge, and you can easily capitalize on a great spot to aim for the best shot.
Jett
Jett is one of the best duelists you can have in Skirmish Ascension. She brings the Tailwind ability, which is extremely useful for quick movement. You can take control of key areas of the arena or dash behind enemies to immediately catch them off guard.
She works especially well with flash agents like KAY/O, where your teammates can throw a flash, and Jett can instantly push in to capitalize. The agent also comes with a small buff. You can climb over a box and then jump, holding the space to glide in the air for a few seconds. This helps you to spot enemies at the start of every stage.
Yoru
Yoru comes with his Fakeout ability, and this is extremely strong in Skirmish Ascension. You can make various plays with Fakeout and bait your opponent to get easy kills. For instance, you can place the fake on one side of a box and swing from the other side.
This forces the other player to second-guess which one is real. If they hit the fake, they get blinded, and you can catch them off guard to secure an easy frag.
Waylay
What makes Waylay a top-tier agent in Valorant Skirmish Ascension is her Refract. This strong ability is great for taking a quick 1v1 fight. If you win, that’s great, but even if you take some cheap damage, you can instantly return to your activated spot.
This gives you the confidence to take an aggressive fight even deep inside the enemy territory. You can make a great play with her in a 2v2 mode. Activate Refract, swing while your teammate pushes from the opposite side, then snap back when the enemy focuses on you. This will set up an easy trade for your teammate.
Chamber
If you pick Chamber in Valorant Skirmish Ascension, then you are choosing one of the safest options available. Well, Chamber brings his Rendezvous ability in this mode, and you place it anywhere right at the start of a round to take advantage. You can pull off all kinds of plays with this ability.

Place it on top of boxes to take height advantage, or place it in a corner so you can swing from the other side and quickly switch direction. It really comes down to how you want to play it.
Cypher
Cypher is one of the strongest Sentinels in Skirmish Ascension, thanks to his Cyber Cage ability. He is the only agent in this mode with this smoke-like ability, which you can use to block the enemy’s vision. This ability is useful both offensively and defensively.
You can use it to capture key areas of the arena without revealing your position. It also helps you deny spaces to the enemy at the early stage of the match and gives you an advantage.
Omen
Omen is one of the best agents that you can have in Skirmish Ascension. His Shrouded Step is a game-changer ability that you can use to make a variety of strategic plays. You can easily deceive the opponent just by teleporting behind and catching them off guard.
Omen becomes more deadly when you pair it with some strong agents like Yoru or Phoenix. With him, you can quickly reach the best position in the arena and take the first shot before the enemy can react.
A tier
Iso
Iso is also a great choice for players who prefer a more aggressive playstyle, especially when pushing into enemy territory, and that is exactly what this agent is made for.
He brings the Contingency ability into the game, which works as a strong defensive tool to block incoming attacks while helping you to push forward. However, it all comes down to your aim and how well you use the wall to take control of key areas and pressure enemies.
Phoenix
Phoenix is the only duelist in Skirmish Ascension with a flash ability. His Curveball can be used in a variety of ways, whether high, low, or close, depending on your playstyle. Most importantly, the ability is very hard to dodge, making it a strong play style where you can get free kills.
You can use the Cuveball on one side and swing the other to get easy kills. Overall, your flash timing is crucial in this case if you want to surprise the enemy.

Raze
Raze brings the Blast Pack into Skrimish, which is a very flexible movement ability that opens up more strategic plays. You can go for aggressive satchel peeks or boost yourself onto boxes to gain a height advantage.
Apart from that, you can even throw a satch at your opponent to displace them from their position while swinging from another angle. Well, if you have a good aim, Raze can easily feel like an S-tier agent.
Sage
Sage can be a vital agent if you utilize her ability properly. She comes with Barrier Orb (Wall), which can block off some parts of the area and let you focus on a single angle. You can also use it to reach higher ground and gain a height advantage to spot and shoot the enemy’s head. On top of that, you can create a one-way with the help of the wall and shoot the enemy without taking any damage.
B tier
Vyse
Vyse is not a great pick in Skirmish Ascension, mainly because of her fragile ability. She comes with the Arc Rose, which can be easily destroyed. While there are a few good spots to place it, enemies with proper game sense can quickly spot it and take it out with a few hits, making the Arc Rose far less effective overall.
C tier
Breach
Breach is not very impactful in this mode, mainly because of his less effective ability Flashpoint. While you can use it to flash behind boxes, enemies often have a lot of cover in the arena to dodge them. On top of that, Flashpoint is relatively slow, which makes it a predictable ability and easier for opponents to read and react.

D-tier
Veto
Veto is one of the weakest agents to pick in Skrimish Ascension. Similar to Breach, his Crosscut ability feels sluggish, which gives enemies enough time to reposition and counter you. It’s also a bit loud, which puts you at a disadvantage when using it.
Wherever you teleport, opponents can hear it clearly from a distance and predict your next move before you can do anything impactful. Hence, try to avoid picking Veto and consider either S or A-tier agents to climb up in Valorant Skirmish Ascension matches.
